ISLAMABAD: First Pakistan Air Force (PAF) JF-17 Thunder Block III aircraft have been rolled out at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra and have been handed over to Pakistan Air Force.
The JF-17 Block III will be inducted into PAF once the complete squadron of it is ready to fly. JF-17 Block III will have an AESA radar, a helmet-mounted display (HMD) and possibly an internal infrared search and tracking (IRST) system. A two-seat version was also reportedly be produced in Block III.
