Jan 25, 2001 F-7P Mianwali 1 Survived F-7P aircraft from Mianwali Air Base crashed during a training sortie. Pilot Faazi was able to eject safely.
Mar 20, 2001 Fighter Nur Pur - Aircraft crashed in Khusab district.
Apr 18, 2001 F-6 Samungli 1 Survived F-6 crashed in the suburbs of the provincial capital near Samungli airbase. However, the pilot ejected safely. The plane was on its routine exercise and while landing it met the disaster.
Apr 26, 2001 Mirage-5F Attock 1 Survived Mirage-5F, serial no. 752, crashed in Bhakwal village of Khore area of Attock district. The aircraft took its flight from Minhas Base and fell after a short while of its take off. Sqn. Ldr. Ihtesham was able to eject safely.
May 30, 2001 Mirage Mianwali 1 Survived Mirage crashed during a routine flight near Mianwali. The pilot ejected safely.
Jun 18, 2001 F-7P Peshawar 1 Survived F-7P aircraft crashed during a routine flight near Peshawar. The pilot ejected safely.
Jul 26, 2001 Mirage-IIIO(A) Masroor 1 Killed Mirage-IIIO(A) that took-off from Masroor Air Base impacted terrain during a night mission near Hub river, killing Gp. Capt. Ali Asad, Officer Commanding (Flying). The cause of the crash seems to be spatial disorientation.
Aug 12, 2001 Fighter Quetta 1 Survived Fighter jet crashed near Samungli, Quetta during a routine training flight. The pilot, however, ejected safely.

Sep 27, 2001 F-7P Masroor 1 Killed F-7P crashed in the Mochko Hills, near Masroor Air Base in western district of Karachi. The pilot, Flying Officer Shahid, ejected but was killed when the chute failed to open.
Jan 17, 2002 A-5C Chakwal 1 Killed A-5C from No. 26 Sqn. took off from Murid Air Base at 11:00A.M. but crashed near Chakwal after developing a snag. The pilot ejected at low level but was killed when he hit the tree immediately afterwards.
Jan 24, 2002 Mirage-5PA3 Arabain Sea 1 Killed Mirage 5PA3 from No. 7 Squadron. crashed somewhere in the Arabian Sea during a solo training mission around 7:30P.M. SAR efforts were not able to locate the pilot or the aircraft wreckage as the aircraft did not broadcast a distress signal. The pilot, Wg. Cdr. Nazar is still missing and presumed dead.
Feb 06, 2002 F-7P Mirpurkhas 1 Survived F-7P on a solo training flight crashed in southern part of Sind near Mirpurkhas. The pilot ejected safely.
Mar 18, 2002 F-6 Quetta 1 Survived The F-6 crashed during a training flight near Quetta. The pilot ejected safely.
Mar 26, 2002 F-7P Multan 1 Survived F-7P crashed 16 km South of Multan during a training mission only five minutes after the plane took off from its base. The pilot Flt. Lt. Naveed Ahmed, tried but failed to land safely after the plane developed a technical fault and ejected safely.
Apr 20, 2002 F-6 Samungli 1 Survived Last crash of the F-6 in PAF service. The pilot ejected safely.

Oct 29, 2002 Bell 206B - All Survived The Army Aviation Bell 206B landed hard in a mountainous area. The helicopter received significant damage to the under carriage but all occupants were able to escape safely.
Nov 15, 2002 Mirage-5PA Shorkot 1 Killed Mirage-5PA serial no. No. 405 of PAF Base Rafiqui, Shorkot crashed at about 12.20 noon near Chak No 411 JB some 20 km from Toba Tek Singh on Toba-Khumanan Wala Road. It was reported that the pilot, Sqn. Ldr. Hasnat Ikram died from injuries. The plane fell some hundred yards away from a road on a deserted place. Officials reached the spot and started shifting the debris of the plane to the airbase. There was, however, no loss of civilian life or property on the ground. The control tower had lost radio contact with the aircraft soon after it took off.
Dec 10, 2002 2 x F-7PG Mastung 2 Survived Two F-7PGs collided mid-air during air combat training in Mastung district, 60km South of Quetta. The fighters belonging to the No. 23 Squadron took off from Samungli AB at 10:55A.M. and collided 20 minutes later. Both pilots, Wg. Cdr. Tariq and Flt. Lt. Mohsin were able to eject safely. The wreckage of one place fell in Choto area while the other crashed in Sufaid Bolundi area of Deringer.
Feb 10, 2003 A-5C Chakwal 1 Killed A-5 crashed on ground at Balksar Interchange near Chakwal. The pilot, Flt. Lt. Nadeem Bhatti received fatal injuries after failing to eject.
Feb 20, 2003 Fokker F-27 Kohat 17 Killed Fokker F27, serial no. J-10254, crashed into the Cherat mountain range in a remote region of northwestern Pakistan near Kohat, killing all 17 people on board. The control tower at the Kohat Air Base lost contact with the Fokker-27 turboprop aircraft shortly before it was to land. The plane had been airborne for only 17 minutes. Those killed were identified as Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir, NI (M), Messers Musaf Ali Meer Begum Balqees, Air Vice Marshall Abdul Razzak, Air Vice Marshall M. Saleem A. Nawaz, Air Commodore Syed Javeed Sabir, Air Commodore Rizwan-ullah Khan, Group Captain Aftan Chema, Wing Commander Syed Tabasum Abbass, Squadron Leader and Plane Captain Ahmed, Squadron Leader and Assistant Pilot Abdul-Rab, Squadron Leader Mumtaz Kiyani, Senior Technician Khan Mohammad, Senior Technician Ashraf, Senior Technician Ghaznaffar, CPL Technician Fiyyaz, CPL Technician Khoosh Qada Shah and CPL Technician Amjad Shamil. The air force chief was on his way to Kohat from Islamabad to conduct an annual inspection of the air base when the plane went down.
Apr 12, 2003 MFI-17 Mushshak Risalpur 1 Killed, 1 Survived MFI-17 Mushshak crashed during a routine training sortie killing pilot instructor Flt. Lt. Tausif Ahmed and injuring his student Cadet Naveed. The aircraft had taken off from PAF’s Academy of flying training. He was posthumously awarded the Tamgha-i-Basalat.
Apr 12, 2003 A-5C Pindi Gheb 1 Survived A-5C Fantan crashed near pindi Gheb in central Punjab province, the pilot managed to eject safely.

Jul 12, 2003 Mirage Shorkot 1 Killed Mirage aircraft crashed near Shorkot whilst on a routine training sortie. The pilot Sq. Ldr. Shahab Nawaz was killed in the crash.
Aug 18, 2003 F-7P Makhad 1 Survived F-7P crashed near Makhad, 44 miles North-West of Islamabad. The Pilot managed to eject safely.
Sep 30, 2003 Mirage-5 Hub 1 Survived The Mirage-5 aircraft from Masroor Air Base crashed on the outskirts of the town on Hub, Baluchistan around 1:45P.M. The pilot was able to eject safely.
Oct 16, 2003 Mirage-5 Malir 2 Survived A Mirage-5 aircraft of PAF which was on a routine training flight, crashed two miles east of Quaid-e-Azam International airport and inside Malir cantonment this morning. Both the instructor & pilot ejected safely.
Dec 10, 2003 F-7P Talagang 1 Survived F-7 aircraft of PAF crashed near Tamman (Talagang), District Chakwal, whilst on a routine training sortie. The pilot managed to eject safely.
Mar 19, 2004 F-7P Jhang 1 Survived F-7 Fighter Aircraft, while on a routine operational training mission, crashed 20 Miles West of Jhang (Punjab Province). The crash apparently occurred due to technical malfunction. The Pilot of the aircraft ejected safely.
Apr 08, 2004 F-7P Jhang 1 Killed F-7 Fighter Aircraft, while on a routine operational training mission, crashed 20 Miles West of Jhang (Punjab Province). The crash apparently occurred due to technical malfunction. The Pilot of the aircraft Flt. Lt. Imran Tariq was fatally injured and later on Embraced Shahadat at PAF Hospital, Mianwali.
July 28, 2005 Mirage Basal 1 Survived Mirage fighter aircraft crashed, 80 km South-West of Islamabad, The pilot managed to eject in time. The pilot ejected and there were no casualties on the ground. The aircraft was on a routine flight when it crashed. Initial investigations have shown that the crash occurred due to technical reasons.
Aug 05, 2005 Mirage Quetta 1 Survived Mirage aircraft, while on a routine operational training mission, crashed 28 Miles North-East of Quetta. The crash apparently occurred due to technical malfunction. The Pilot of the aircraft ejected safely.
Aug 26, 2005 Mirage Badin 1 Survived Mirage aircraft crashed, 350 km of Karachi, The pilot managed to eject in time. The crash apparently occurred due to technical malfunction.
Sep 11, 2005 Mirage Payee Khel 1 Killed Mirage crashed during a training mission in the central province of Punjab. The crash was fatal. The jet came down in the town of Payee Khel, about 200 km (125 miles) South-West of the Islamabad, cause of the crash was being investigated.
Dec 08, 2005 Mirage Mianwali 1 Killed Mirage was crashed in the hilly terrain near Mianwali due to bad weather.
